I like it when people love where they live.

<-- hates where he lives

Not for long.

That's true.  Although two months is going to seem like an eternity.

Two months in Canada during the summer shouldn't seem like an eternity.

It should seem like a vacation.

You've never lived in Edmonton.

What do you think of Calgary?  I was there for a couple days a few summers ago and thought it was AWESOME.  But it was only a few days, and it was when the Calgary flames were doing well in the playoffs, so the city was quite abuzz.

1.  I don't like Calgary that much.
2.  Calgary absolutely PWNS Edmonton.
3.  Most Canadian cities are much more pleasant when the local NHL team is doing well.
4.  Summers can be tolerable here sometimes.'

My parents live in Calgary.  It's much better than where I'm currently living, but still pretty crappy.

Calgary seemed very nice when I went there--maybe a little boring, but a very clean and pretty city. Seems basically like Canada's version of Denver. Its close proximity to Banff and Lake Louise is also a plus.

Banff and Lake Louise are awesome.  But I'm too poor to ski.   :-\

Go during the summers--it's beautiful then and there's plenty to do.
