Hmm...I would tell him 50/50 is the best.

but really I like 30/70. I like being in control. I'm pretty sure he knows that anyway.

About what kinds of things are we talking about here though?  I mean, it's easy to take control of where you eat dinner or what movie you go see, but are we talking about life decisions here: where to live, what career to pursue, how many children to have?

I can't imagine a relationship could even be close to sustainable without a 50/50 split in important decisions or at least a genuine compromise.

Stop being so nice, start being more challenging.  Ask outright for what you want.

But I get what I want anyway...usually its given to me because I'm nice.
