Poker!!!
« on: July 27, 2004, 08:57:45 AM »
Taking the day off from work tomorrow and hitting up Foxwoods. I"m thinking of trying out my no limit hold em skills down there at one of those $60 buy-in "shot at a World Poker Tour championship" tables. Any gambling addicts / Chris Moneymaker wannabes have any advice for me? :)

be very very cautious at first...dont make any big moves...when people start fallin and blindes go up, then hit it...couple kids i play with at school have won some 5 grand tourneys at foxwoods - good luck!

ive won a tourney at foxwoods, placed in top 5 for several tourneys in tropicana and the borgata.  most of these low buy-in tourneys are rebuy tournaments, which means there will be a lot of dead money.  be wary of those who go all in in the first round of blinds because theyre usually on a draw.  if you have a strong enough hand, call them.  theyre pretty easy to spot.

Poker always been my favorite casino game and I always love to play poker because I make so much profit in this. Earlier I lost so much in this but then one of my friend told me about a website https://casinosapproved.info/how-to-attract-luck-in-gambling/ which helped me so much to understand the casino games from the deeply. I read reviews at this site and learn so much about casino. Now I am expert at casino gaming.

Are you experienced in poker? I envy you. Probably it is you who could give us a few tips. I tried it once, but didn't consider it was really not a game for beginners. So until I was to discover this pack of casinos, I had been losing. Now that I have a choice, I decided to master my skills gradually. I am playing blackjack now. This is not poker of course, but not a game for the dumb either. I played 8 games and won in 6, so I think I have a good potential. What advice will you give me?
