What a bummer. Sorry about that, Tra. I would never have expected that.

It's at these kind of moments I keep trying to remind myself how enviable of a position almost all of us on LSD are, really, in a million ways. It doesn't always help, but it's definitely true.

I'm suspicious of that one -- #'s seem a little high to be rejected this early.

I went complete at HLS about a week after most of the dings so far. Not sure if I'm in the next round of rejections based on this, but no news was good news today.

No I promise you it was a legit rejection with those numbers (close enough GPA, I just vary it a little because I'm overly concerned about adcomms reading on this board, but rest assured its between a 3.8 and 3.85 and the LSAT is legit).  I have to be honest though, I never wanted to go to Harvard and I think they can tell a "Hey I don't take this application too seriously but it'd be fun to see if I can get in to Harvard," which is what I did.

I am actually very glad I didn't get in.  I have my heart set on UVA or Duke and I'm guessing almost no one in those schools got in to Harvard (a few, I'm sure), so I'd always have to go through life like "damn, what if I had sucked up the fact that I hate Boston and Ivy-people and had gone to Harvard".  Now, no regrets and I can go to the school of my choice.
