Some party tunes suggestions please...
« on: July 18, 2004, 09:35:29 PM »
me and my roommate are throwing a shindig on the 30th. we got plenty of hip-hop/rap/r&b tunes but i would like to add some techno, club, house, trance, etc. songs to my library so that there'll be some more variety. the problem is, i have no idea where or how to start.

anyone have any suggestions? which djs are hot right now?

Anything by the Roc Project (De ja vu, Past tense) is pretty decent; Prodigy (Breathe, Full throttle), Dirty Vegas, Motorcycle (As the rush comes), Armin Van Buuren (Burned with desire).  Most of these are dance/trance/club.

for current club tracks (singles):

if you want "DJs" as you said, i would look at Steve Lawler, Danny Howells, or Deep Dish for starters.  these are a few of my favorites.

Nice suggestions! Not only are you not tappa tappa keg material but apparently you can't read either.
