from urbandictionary, pants:  "rubbish, no good, bag of sh!te"

This is a new one on me.

Rutgers-Camden!  With 10k Scholarship (based upon maintaining a 3.5 GPA ... which is pants).

Congrats despite your odd usage of "pants."

That is odd.  Something smells of the downstate NY, LI, NJ area...

I don't know the point of origination for "pants," but I liked it immediately upon reading it... and I'm from Long Island.  You've got a knack, Como.

LOL.  I just know whenever I hear a new slang word that doesn't seem to have any apparently logical etymology, it's from downstate, NJ, or LI - especially Long Island.  They seem to have their own rules down there. lol

In at FSU and GW via e-mail. I applied to GW maybe less than two weeks ago. !!

I kind of like the pants thing, but I'm thinking the usage was more a case of someone who reads a lot of British teen chick lit than any regional thing within the US.
