I wonder how many people get off the waitlist from Rutgers. Wish I knew....

I see that lots of people on LSN were accepted to Rutgers, but do not list it as a top choice.  It may be some place that people appyl to just as a backup, since it's in the area.

What will be will be!

I wish the people who have acceptances would just withdraw already!

I got my letter today too, my brother read it over the phone. Does anyone think there is any chance of getting some money off the waitlist? I have a pretty good idea that i will be in Cali come august, but i really like Rutgers-New, and would give them a serious look if they threw some dough at me (even a little bit).

Got my letter today as well. Waitlisted.

I keep reading about priority WL at other schools.  Does anyone know if R-N has such a waitlist?

I am now also a member of the deferred-waitlisted club. I wonder why defer in the first place... ???

To procrastinate.

Heard anything at all from Temple?  I am also waiting and have heard zippo.

Hey Ragnar, Im sorry to disapoint you but you need a reality check. Chances of getting $$ off RU waitlist? Dude your chances of getting off the list period are like 2%. Figure, they have no spots now, and any spot that opens up gets contested over by the whole waitlist (seems like a lot of people). Besides Rutgers is a state school and has little money to throw.

yeah, the chances of getting money off the waitlist are probably zero.  rutgers doesnt have much  money anyway. they really dont give much in scholarships to first years.
