I know someone who did their degree in the States and then came back to Canada.  the thing is that you have to write challenger exams. My friend said they were rather easy and he passed them and is doing articling now.

I am just pointing out that an online message board should not run your life for you...There are more reliable places to get information about this kind of stuff.  The Law Society of Upper Canada (what I called "the Bar") has a lot of information about certification.
