EMERGENCY -- HELP
« on: October 23, 2004, 05:18:40 PM »
I'm researching in the library right now and I need to know what the difference is (if any) between West's NEW YORK DIGEST 3d and West's NEW YORK DIGEST 4th.  HELP!

If I remember those are non-cumulative and you'll need to check both.

The cumulative books said they were cumulative when I was working on last week's research exercise.

3d and 4d refer to the years, i believe?  I use the southeastern second reporter.

Don't forget that you can always contact lexis or westlaw's live help even though it's not related to their site.  I've done that several times, and they were more than happy to answer my questions.

(The last question I asked what esq. stood for, becuase I sometimes see it behind a lawyer's name)

Man, this was not an emergency. An emergency is when you *&^% your pants in the middle of Torts or something like that. You are clearly on way too much speed/Aderrol/coke. Don't get me wrong, I take that *&^% too, like candy. But nonetheless you need to calm down a bit. Go smoke some weed and come back.

4d is newer than 3d. If a case was overruled, this would be put in 4d.
