For those of you who visited Stanford, or any other T14 schools, did you just visit the campus, or did you speak to someone when you were there?  Thanks!

I did a tour/visit thing with Georgetown and then spoke with the Dean of Admissions, we had an hour conversation. He was really friendly and helpful. He has actually since called me to see if I was still applying since he hadn't seen my application yet. I have no chance in hell at GULC so I was impressed with how nice he was.

Apply anyway... It sounds like you may have a shot if he was really impressed with you in person.

Wow, that's impressive! If you haven't applied yet, I would recommend you do. You have for sure one person on your side at the admissions table!

Wow! That is certainly a good sign. Go ahead and apply, and soon.
Look at it this way; If you get in, you will be attending a very good school that was a stretch to get into (which does happen to some people, who usually do not get such phone calls from the Dean of Admissions). If not, at least you made an effort, no regrets, and you are out $87 (app fee + LSDAS).
If he made the effort to spend that much time with you, keep your info and call you as he did, you really do have a shot.
