Wasn't Hofstra a T4 last year? They moved up to T2?!? That's a pretty big jump. Any clue how that could happen?

hofstra was t3, but still that means the minimum they jumped is 11 schools, they are really working on their national reputation, i am not surprised

I'm giving it a second thought, but UCONN and Rutgers are still pretty far ahead...

Just cause it's a school i've applied to, wondering if people know...
UNLV debuted this year in 2nd tier. Isn't that the first 2nd tier debut ever?  Because i think Chapman had the previous highest debut, and they were 3rd tier last year... jsut checking

I believe Cardozo debuted in the 2nd tier as well.  At least that's what I'm assuming since someone on this board quoted Rob Schwartz as saying the school rose 30-something (I forget the actual number) ranks since its inception in 1976.  Using last year's ranking, that would put the debut at somewhere between 87 and 96.

This was misquoted. What I wrote was that Rob Schwartz said (during the accepted students' program) that the school had moved up 33* places since he started working there in 1996. Nothing was said about the founding of the school until it was misquoted later in the thread.

*he said 29, i added the additional 4 for 2005...

I have a question for someone with the book. What is NYU ranked in MPA (Public Administration) programs this year? My gf is graduating from there this month, and was curious how it fared. Thanks.
