Here is the paraphrased sentence.

"...I became the first [position] for [club name], which included [tasks for that position]. However, all officers were responsible for* During my time on the [club name], [accomplishments we achieved]."

*indicates where I just had a brain fart and didn't finish the sentence.
There was no content that affected the rest of the essay.

Law School Admissions / Consensus on typos?
« on: January 05, 2006, 02:09:07 PM »
In an addendum, I left in a sentence fragment. I was going to go back and finish the sentence, but must have forgotten. It's not a normal spelling typo or grammatical mistake, but rather an incomplete sentence.

I was upset to see it, because I am definitely NOT a lock in for this school.

I realize most typos don't mean much, but this is just an incomplete sentence, although only by a few words.

Should I submit a new one?? I've read that sometimes resubmitting just calls attention to it.

What's the consensus on the board?

Acceptances, Denials, and Waitlists / Re: In at Chicago-Kent

I've gotten their December Admissions eNewsletter, Cultural Diversity Open House email, and 2 cards (one about taking a virtual tour online, another about the January Open House) via snail mail, but nothing about admissions....!!

They keep sending the stuff I don't want....

Is it me or is Kent taking a long time? Wish they'd respond soon...

OP, can you provide your numbers? I'm waiting to hear back from Kent and finished my apps right around the same time as you. I'm getting antsy waiting for Kent to get back to me.

I'll read it. PM it over.

I'm going to end up doing the same thing as nukelaw: my main PS will just have to explain my career change, and then I'll add a diversity essay where I can mention my background and experiences.

Somehow I feel this will make it seem like I don't have a PS....just a "why law school" and a "diversity" essay.

I may be just overanalyzing this, but for some reason that's how I feel.

Law School Admissions / Fee Waivers
« on: October 29, 2005, 09:17:09 AM »
Let me make sure I understand this correctly: even if I get a fee waiver from a law school, I still have to pay the $12 per report to LSDAS?
