I really wanted to be an airline pilot, but attorney at law just seemed to be a much more realistic goal.

Doesn't anyone else find it ridiculous that the Falcons haven't cut Vick yet?  If I were the owner, I would've sent his ass to the curb two minutes after the indictment was announced.

I think the NFL should kick him out of the league too, but I could see merit in waiting for the legal process to play out before doing so.  Still, no other team should even want the public relations nightmare that this guy has become.

God bless cougars.  You gotta love 'em for trying.

beasley - You have your place.  It is important for prospective students to weigh the financial burden that they will be taking on by going to law school.  I would never advocate a person blindly choosing to go to law school without taking into account the economic side of things.

However, I think you are much too sour.  You seem to make it seem as though law school is not worth going to unless you are going to a very good private school or an inexpensive public school.  Those are certainly the best options, but for various reasons, those options are not available to everyone.

People who do end up going to a lesser private school will not end up begging in the streets, as you and so many others on this board seem to believe.  They may not end up with a mansion and a beautiful trophy wife, but if they really want to practice law, they will find a way to get by.

Falcons are f*cked.  Stupid bastards held onto Schaub as an insurance policy for years, then finally trade him right before Vick goes to prison.   :D

Personally, as a dog lover, I hope the bastard burns in hell.

I received recruitment literature from them in which pictures of Justices Scalia and Thomas were quite prominent.  Their library is named after former Chief Justice Warren Burger (an alum), who was quite well known for his conservative strict-constructionist views.  I've also visited the campus and even took my LSAT there, and I can say that based on personal experience, the general feel of the campus is conservative and traditional.

If you are okay with that, then great.  Some people don't mind going to a conservative school or even want to go to such a school.  I just want you to be aware of William Mitchell's conservative nature so that you know what you are getting into.

Do you really want to buy a computer from a company that cannot make their own website work?   :D

Seriously though, I got one of the T61s, and its nice, but I wish I had gone with a Mac.

Do not listen to the pathetic trolls on this thread.  Both those schools are pretty good.  If you are wedded to California, than obviously Loyola is the choice.  I personally would go to American, but I am not tied down by a SO or a particular geographic preference.

I would not go to William Mitchell.  I know it does pretty well in MN, but my impression is that it is not a very good school.  Plus they are uber-conservative and quite proud of it.  Maybe that is OK with you, but I couldn't stand a school THAT conservative.

If your scores are good enough that you might have a shot at Minnesota, then I would suggest applying to some other, better (than William Mitchell) schools in the area as well.  Wisconsin, Case Western, DePaul, Loyola-Chicago, and Chicago-Kent would be some good schools to apply to.
