Judge: Make Money Recognizable to Blind

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Give blind people a way to tell a $20 bill from a single, says a judge who told the government to change the nation's paper money so it doesn't all feel the same.

I didn't have to see all these political ads that made it sound like "raising your taxes" is the equivalent of "molesting your children".  I mean, it's getting really ridiculous.  ::)

Am I the only one who feels like this is kind of the worst of both worlds?  On the one hand, it's not a real victory because the court said that it's still okay for the states to call it something other than marriage, which I feel is basically saying "We'll give you tax benefits and whatnot but we won't recognize the validity of your relationships to the extent we would recognize the validity of a heterosexual relationship."  On the other hand, all the major news outlets are making out to be some sort of huge step forward, which makes me afraid that it'll just rile up all the fanatics on the right.  Am I alone in this?  :-\
