After a million and one decisions and a half dozen hurdles...I am officially going to Georgetown THIS fall!  ;D

Congrats!

Thanks! Esp, since you know all that I went through. It's all coming together now. finally.
I hope everything falls in line for you too asap  ;)

good luck with the move from Charlottesville!
I'm actually in GA but Charlottesville/UVA was my first choice. All things considered DC is the more viable option for my family at this point. I haven't heard anything about their WL status anyway and I'm out of time.

I say buy what you can afford but don't be a miser. Your fiance will likely be aware enough of your financial status to have some sort of expectation. Hopefully, that expectation is reasonable. If you can afford to, and feel the need to, UPGRADE her at 5 years or so.

That's my 2 cents.

PS. I think my rings are fine but my husband feels the need to tell me he will be upgrading me next year for our 5th anniversary. His choice, not mine.

Best Wishes!

I can't believe I'm about to admit this: Miley Cyrus, See you again

I think I win.

Me too. LOL! But I try hard to blame it on my daughter.  :D

You have a great excuse.  I have no children, and am never around any, so my tastes cannot be explained.  Dorkiest moment of the school year, bar none:

Property professor discussing parody: "Anyone ever heard of 'Wizards of Waverly Place'?"
Me: "Yeah, that was funny last week when they made fun of Harry Potter... uh... what?"
Professor: "I have two kids, what's your reason for knowing about it?"
Me: embarassed shrug

LMAO!!!!!!  :D Yes, I know all about Wizards of Waverly Place. I've seen Jump In like 10 times. And let's not even start with The Cheetah Girls or Hannah Montana!

Thanks, J.A.A.N

Depending on my financial situation I would rather attend FT instead of PT. Working on paying debts down to accomplish this.  I will be applying in Fall '09 to start in Fall '10.  Does adding a minor after undergraduate help in cum GPA?

I'm not sure whether adding a minor is really worth it since it takes so much to significantly raise a GPA. To answer your question, however, any college-level courses you take will be factored into your cum GPA by LSAC.

Not once an undergraduate degree is awarded they won't.

Sorry for the m.i. Thanks for the correction!
