Acceptances, Denials, and Waitlists / GW--Again
« on: July 30, 2004, 05:15:59 PM »
well, although i have started threads on gw before, i though i would give it one more shot.  has anyone who is on their waiting list heard anything?  i am on the part time list and have heard nothing.  i feel like, even if they don't want me, the least they could do is send me a letter or an e-mail or a smoke signal or a telepathic message or something.  not bitter...anyway, has anyone else heard from them?

Choosing the Right Law School / what do i do??? help!
« on: April 18, 2004, 12:28:33 PM »
hey all.

i have a dilemma, and i was hoping some of you might be able to help me out.  i have been accepted at american (#56) and at the university of minnesota (#19).  i live in dc right now and love it.  there are MANY reasons to stay, not the least of which are a boyfriend, friends, a job, and contacts.  would it be a complete mistake, do y'all think, to choose to go to american and stay in dc when i have an offer at a top twenty school in an extremely cold, unfamiliar, and far away place?

thank you for your insights!

i'm not sure how this happened, but i am on five waiting lists:  gw, vandy, wisconsin, wash u, and emory.  what's up with that?  anyone else out tere in my situation (i.e. waitlisted at almost every school to which they applied?)

Acceptances, Denials, and Waitlists / More GW Wait-List
« on: March 05, 2004, 01:08:26 PM »
I can sympathize with those of you on the gw wait list, as i am also on it.  today, i went to the gw admissions office and talked to a representative who told me that there are 1,000 people on the wait list.  can you believe it?  has anyone gotten off of it yet?  i have a 3.8/161 from a top school.  much grief over the LSAT.  good luck to all of you wait listers out there.  i hope you all get your first choices.
