Law School Admissions / is it too late??
« on: January 11, 2007, 09:50:05 AM »
So I didn't apply to NYU or Columbia b/c I thought it was too much of a long shot, but now with low apps rate and rumors of a "soft year," i'm tempted to shoot some more apps out...

realistically, is it too late or should i go for it?

167/3.9, not a URM, typical soft factors...

of the schools that i'm applying to, most have different topic requirements for personal statements.  they either ask why law school, element of diversity, significant experience, or they leave it up to me.  does everyone typically "obey" these prompts or send the same one to all of them?  i really don't feel like writing 5 essays and i'm worried that they won't be cohensive if i try to cover more than one or two of these themes in the same one...

if you took the Sept '06 LSAT and receive a fee waiver, post here.

The dates you receive them and in what form (i.e. snail mail, e-mail) are also useful information to include. I'll update the list daily.

Baylor (fyi-if you apply online, there is no app fee)
