« on: June 05, 2006, 05:15:20 PM »
I'm U of T student, taking LSAT this October/September. I am not sure if I am ready to meet up as a study group now, since I haven't really started studying yet. But please let me know of whats going on and all, hopefully I can join you guys and help eachother out. Peace out then.

Thank you all for so much.
Yes, I really don't know anything. I guess I will just do my best, and will have to see what comes out of it. Thanks all once again!

Choosing the Right Law School / Can anyone tell me where I should go?

Hi all. I am studying at University Of Toronto, undergrad Commerce program. I pursued CA (Chartered Accountant) designition, which calls for the hardest courses to be taken within Commerce program (and probably among all other undergrad courses.) I wasn't thinking about law school, but I pulled out GPA about 3.7 and now I am thinking about doing both LLB/JD and CA. I am to take LSAT this October. I have taken practice LSATs and on average I am getting around 165.
The GPA is my undergrad GPA, not converted into LSAC GPA. I know that my GPA is not competitive relatively speaking, but this is largely because I was taking what all students call the hardest courses in UT.
Should I  aim and apply for top 20s law schools, or do I not have any realistic chance? I really don't know much because I never seriously looked into law schools. I will really appreciate if any one could help. Thank you all!
