Job Search / Re: a godsend or a gimmick

I have used, and it worked well for me, thankfully I received an nice offer and I will start working next month thanks to using the service.  I a recently graduated myself and with very little experience.  This is the best service in in the industry, forget about legal authority owned by a white collar criminal and firstlawjob who is owned by scott grady who used to own findlawjob - another white collar criminal who is disbarred

I really hope no one falls for this. I love that all 3 of his posts say the same thing. At least put some effort into it...geez.

Gotta love copy and paste.

sure sara... typical that you would be in Berkeley.  Whats funny is that if you went to an animal shelter to get a dog around Cal and told them you were in your first year of law school and single... you would be rejected.  They wouldnt allow you to adopt an animal.  And Rightly so...  Because it is cruel to have a puppy and be gone 8-12 hours a day everyday.  But a woman with a 3 or 4 year old... who are we to judge?

Presumably, the baby would be taken care of by another adult.  I don't see the OP filling a water dish and throwing a pudding pack on the floor and then leaving for the day  ;)

October is when most schools start taking applications.  EA or ED due dates tend to be within a month or so of 10/1, but most schools continue taking apps until at least February, some take them almost up until the start of school (these tend to be the T4 schools).  So, if you want to submit after you receive your score, you should be able to get all your apps in by November 1st, if they're ready to go.  Good luck!

Join- you won't regret it.

ETA: I almost ignored my notification letter, thinking it was another invitation to some useless group, and figuring that I was already in the one for my major and didn't need another.  That was until I received an email from a prof of mine who was on the committee or board, whatever it's called, who congratulated me and encouraged me to join.  He explained that it's the most prestigious honor society in the U.S. and is recognized as quite an honor by the most selective employers and by graduate programs.  Even if this isn't really the case, it's certainly not going to hurt you.  Just don't expect to learn the secret handshake!

I don't listen to Rush asswipe.

Sure sounds like you do.  Btw...isn't swearing a violation of LU's honor code?

Your powers of deduction continue to astound!

Things started going downhill in 2006 when the Dems took over Congress.  Remember?

0bama's policies are failing and will not work.  Socialism has never worked and never will.  Why should we expect different results this time?  Trickle-up poverty is here.  0bama is teaching people that it is evil to make money. In other words, he is taking a page out of Marx's book, except that he is not calling it class warfare.

Wow.  Rush's seminars are working wonders for you.  Keep up the talking points!

0bama promised to bring "change"  I thought that meant the economy would get better.  Your President is a failure.

Loser (sorry, that was immature, I should have used something equally demeaning--like "Big Guy" in the tone that you would to a 3 year old),

I can see why you say that.  He's had all of 38 days to fix 8 years of policies from the worst administration in history.  There's a FAIL somewhere in there, but it's not Obama's.

I was watching the Lion King, and Scar was singing his "i will be king" song, and he used "quid pro quo".. it made me think of lawdog's ridiculous use of it in this thread, and I laughed

I know exactly the scene you're talking about!  "Be prepared!"

The GOP did not create most of this mess.  The economy started to suffer in 2006 when the Democrats took over Congress.

Yeah, the entire economy tanked in less than two years.  Good call!  I'll let you get back to your mandatory Rush Limbaugh listening hour at Liberty.
