Title: Transfer to NYU with a 3.6 at a 2nd tier?

This seems far fetched, but can you transfer to NYU with a 3.6 at a 2nd tier law school? I can't get any answers from anyone as to what GPA you need from a 2nd tier school.

most of the advice and information on transfer requirements usually ask about class rank.  does your school produce a ranking for you?  if so, top 10% and i believe you're a candidate.

Top 10% seems indeed to be the magic formula. There is no such thing as shoe-in for NYU though. 3.6 at BU for instance may not even be top 3rd of the class, and that's a top 25 school. Good luck thogh.
