Title: question about UCLA
Post by: kevinc on April 06, 2004, 06:08:44 AM
hey i just got a letter from ucla saying that my application is complete, and that i'll be receiving a decision by the end of may.

two things confuse me:
1) what the hell is this letter? (am i on some kind of waitlist?)
2) I already received notice back in February that my application was complete. So I'm confused as to why I received another notice about my application being complete.

i got 2 "your application is complete" letters from them as well.  i don't think it means anything except that they have a really inefficient admissions office that likes to waste paper.  :)

It means they have received all parts of your app . . . i.e. LSAC packet, LORs, transcripts etc.  I think they send it to everyone it also lets you know if your admission fee was received or lost in the mail.
