Hi Skibum,
I hope that it wasn't you who posted that nasty message about me...hope that wasn't you...
Anways...if you are just seeking advice...there are certain steps you need to take in preparation for the LSAT.
1) go to the
www.lsac.org website and click on LSAT. Get the instruction booklet as it will give you some basic advice about the LSAT...then download the free test that is offered on the website. It is test #20. Take it under strictly timed conditions, meaning giving yourself 35 minutes per section, taking the first three sections without a break. Between section 3 and 4 give yourself a 15 minute break.
2) Email me with your score and with the areas that you had most difficulties with. Depending on the score you got, will determine how much time you will need to prepare. Also, depending on what goal schools you have, you need to know what LSAT scores they want for admission. --- then you work from that point on...

We have a study group on yahoo where we take practice tests twice per week and discuss the results. That is a very helpful resource.
Also, GET PREPPED published explanation books to LSAT tests, I have not seen them yet to see if he explanations are any good, but getting a hold of some sort of explanation book, from the above company or Kaplan or Princeton could be helpful too.
Best of luck to you.
Vera
