I say FIU is T2 within 3 years. The buzz locally has been amazing, and Miami is one of the country's largest legal markets with only one well-respected law school. The need for another good law school in the area has been huge. Hit the nail on the head!If you are willing to wager, I'll happily make a $500 PayPal transacted bet that FIU will not be T2 in 2010/2011. I predict FIU = AVEMARIAPWN3D!

FIU debuts in T3!
I'll have to second that. FIU is in the unique situation of being the only public law school in the 4th largest metro area in the country.

It's a crazy sight. I think you'll find many native So. Floridians (as well as those who want to live in S. FL) choose FIU over schools such as FSU because of the access to the large metro area. Will FIU beat UF, FSU, or UM in the next few years? No. But will FIU make it to the T2? If I were a betting man, I wouldn't flich at the odds. There is just too much money, PR push, political pressure, and quality faculty retention behind the school for it to not rise quickly.

Would you choose FIU($) over Miami? It is already cheaper, especially if in-state.
There is nothing wrong with BYU. Where else can you learn Plural-Marriage-Divorce-Law?
You guys are so uneducated. Hello! The LDS Church stopped practicing polygamy more than a century ago! And BYU doesn't sell caffeinated soda-pop let alone tea.And anal sex is gross. I don't think I'd do it even if my wife wanted it! I'll have to ask my bishop whether or not that's even acceptable.
