I offer tutoring services free of charge to economically disadvantaged students with high GPAs (3.7+) in NYC who have a demonstrated commitment in public interest law. You must come to the Columbia Law area. I anticipate being able to meet twice a week for two hours with you or, if I like you, until you can get a 170+. You must agree to take a public interest law job after graduation or else compensate me $200 hourly for each hour that we have worked together.
I have had 4 students so far. Two of them improved almost 10 points in 2 weeks. One improved almost 5 points in 2 weeks. One student went from an initial test of 162 to practice tests of 179 (still awaiting the second official score) after 6 months of work.
EDIT: Please do not contact me offering to pay for my services. I am not advertising here. I just want to do something to help people who want to do public interest law.

"Almost 5 points" ... I feel like at that point you're better of saying the number, whether it be 3 or 4. Almost 5 sounds like it could be 1 or 2 and you're trying to hide something.

I would. I just forget how many points it was exactly. It wasn't an impressive amount so I forget what it was exactly.

I would. I just forget how many points it was exactly. It wasn't an impressive amount so I forget what it was exactly. That's fair. Sounds like a generous offer. Unfortunately I already took the LSAT and can't say with much certainty that I'm headed into public interest.
