What are you taking to law school?

For those traveling to law school by plane - what are you taking in your two checked bags?  What are you shipping?  Three years is a long time to live out of a suitcase.

I moved from Utah to NYC and i shipped almost everything with UPS ground for less than 150 dollars.  this included my tv, vcr, books, linens, clothes, etc.  they have great rates.  and it only take one week.

The best part about UPS: if you call them with enough time, they will pick up boxes for you at your home. I shipped about 50 boxes coast to coast that way about six years ago.

The worst part about UPS: a *lot* of items were broken. Boxes were smashed in. It wasn't that I hadn't packed carefully -- they just were horrible in the way they handled the items I shipped. Be forewarned.

I've had terrible service from UPS.  Broken boxes, items thrown on to the front step.  Baaaadddd service.

I do not believe I will be taking a plane (I am scared of flying).  SO.. I will take with me my most valued possession.  My trusty, loving, reliable, dependable... 1995 Nissan Maxima GLE.  Comes with a 190hp V6 24 Valve engine that Ward's magazine selected as a top-10 engine.  Also features leather seats, power everything, dual airbags (pretty big deal back in the mid 90s), and many nights sitting by the local lake surrounded by girls, kicking back and watching them make out with my best buddy while I sat outside my own damn car looking out for cops.  Ahhh.. the memories!  But yes, I will be taking this beauty with me

Heh, I suppose I gave the wrong impression--not crossing the Mason-Dixon or anything. I'm moving from southern Texas to nothern Texas. Still a good 5-6 hour drive. -- Most likely to Baylor (Waco, Texas) in any case.

Unless I get a huge admit + $$ from SMU.
