Hey guys,
 Just wondering if I could get any opinions regarding my chances to the following schools where I've applied? Thanks for the input!
 I have a 160 sep LSAT, 172 dec LSAT, 3.84 GPA

Stanford (haha I know, but I had to try)
NYU
Columbia
Berkeley
UVA
Duke
Georgetown
USC
UCLA
Texas (in-state)
Emory
BC

This is just a complete guess and I have a similar thread right now so my predictions do not hold much weight. Anyway, I think you are in at all of these schools except Stanford & Columbia and with those you should at least get a waitlist.

3.84/172?  Why is that a meh at NYU/Columbia.  I think you're likely in at both of those, Stanford is a crapshoot for everyone.

No, nothing helpful from me. but two things: 1) I love Brown Bears's avatar. 2) how'd you go from 160 to 172. That's exactly what I'm hoping to do.

Going from 160 to 172: It really helped me to take FULL practice tests.  Make sure you time each section strictly like the real thing.  I don't recommend breaking the test down into different sections.  Another thing is to simulate the background noise around you (I took several practice tests in the library to get a feel of having people around).  Most importantly, REVIEW your mistakes from each practice test and really try to understand where you went wrong.  Don't be afraid to redo logic game sections...you're likely to pick up a critical deduction that you missed before.  If you practice these things dilligently, you'll have a ton of confidence going into the real thing.  Good luck!

Amped, good point.  I found that doing full tests on a pretty regular basis worked well for me, but I'm sure different things work best for different people.  All in all, confidence is the most important thing I think.  Whatever prep strategy gets you feeling confident, stick with it.
