I got the Darrow yesterday! Wow. Does anyone have any suggestions- Darrow, Stanford, or Harvard? My decision is going to be so much harder than I thought. I also want to extend hope out there to other low LSATs (mine is a 169).

I chose Michigan - PM me if you want more info. :)
Accepted: Columbia, Chicago, Michigan, Virginia, Duke, Northwestern, Georgetown, Vanderbilt, The Ohio State University

Pending: Yale, Harvard

Please note that the schools are listed entirely in order of US News ranking.

I am choosing between Darrow, Harvard, and Columbia ($$) too!  Does anyone have any idea what they're going to do?

A dollar from each football ticket sold goes into a law school bribery/awesomeness fund.

So just out of curiosity, how much is the stipend?  I always see posts about various law school scholarships offering stipends but I wonder how much the stipends are.

So if I haven't heard anything about being nominated for a Darrow or Dean's Scholarship/partial Darrow, is it safe to assume at this point that I won't be getting an offer?

If someone has an answer to this question, all the crazies PM'ing me saying "WITHDRAW FROM MICHIGAN PLEASE!!!!!  HURRY!!" would be very happy....

(I wasn't even invited to submit that essay or whatever - should I count myself out? Or is there a second round of Darrowing?)

The full Darrow covers tuition for three years ($126,000) plus a $15,000 stipend. At least that's what mine comes to.

Rhymeonocerous, I'm leaning toward the Darrow. I'd like to work for the government after law school, which would be tough to do with a lot of debt. From what I can tell, clerkship and government job opportunities aren't significantly better at Columbia and the difference in the cost of living pretty much negates any scholarship money. As for Harvard, well, that's a choice that I don't have to make.

Kevin, from what I can tell they don't give out Darrow invites in rounds. If you'd take it over your current options, send them an email. It couldn't hurt, right?
