LSAC includes all grades, even those F's that were replaced through forgiveness, when calculating your GPA.  This is probably the source of the difference.

@#!*, so i guess I should revise my addendum to reflect that.

I retook two classes (an F and a C) and turned them both into As; my undergrad forgave the F and C but LSAC didn't. I went from a 3.51 to a 3.37. A fairly significant difference in my opinion (I went from above the 25th percentile at most of my applied-to-schools to below the 25th percentile).

The LSAC uses a weighted scale, which most undergrad programs do not. Fortunately, the switch worked in my favor. Thanks to a few A+es in undergrad, my LSAC GPA rose from a 3.78 to a 3.82 That may account for the change here, but like the others suggested, I would call and double check. This is your future; don't leave anything to chance.

Yeah, for me they calculated in two courses that I had taken in highschool for college credit (actually helped me), but I was shocked. I never transferred them to my University, so i couldnt believe they were on my report.

Just do the calculation yourself and see if it agrees with the one they did. Use both original and new grades in repeat classes, include all coursework prior to graduation (including courses taken at colleges while in high school). Calculate with +/-'s.
