Today was a huge letdow. I haven't received an email from a law school all day. I have no good news to carry me through the holiday break.

How will I survive a week without obsessively checking LSN, LSD, and my email?

Many of those Penn acceptances are probably ED, aren't they?

Well, only 7 people report that they are attending, but I guess it's possible that many of the accepted folks are ED who have not updated their attending/withdrawn data boxes.

Yea there are only about 11-12 of us (some don't have ED up but they are). I know the wait sucks, but decisions starting pouring in come january.

I got an email! I went complete at Washington and Lee. I know, it doesn't sound like big news, but after two very quiet days, this is exciting for me.

Yesterday was a big day for me--NYU packet and Penn phone call (though I guess the actual acceptance happened the day before), but today I found out about Cornell (had to call them myself, but it was GREAT news so who cares)

Yeah no Christmas presents for me either. I guess the good thing is not as many people were hearing news as I expected, so maybe the cycle has been pushed back and I will start to get some good news from the Top 10 in January.

But in case I don't and I'm heading for waitlists, how exactly do those work? Do a lot of people get in off the waitlist? And in a reasonable amount of time? Or not really.

I want to bump this thread.
Since I got my first acceptance letter from W&M two weeks ago(with $$), I though I would get at least one more news before the holiday break.  :(  I'm twirling my thumbs faster day by day.
But it's a bit comforting that I'm not the only one.

Got into Mich today.  I'm actually surprised to get some news before the Christmas holidays.
