Should I send a DS when they did not request it?

Should I send a DS when they did not request it?

I am sending in everything online. I noticed that one
can attach as many docs as you want. I have a pretty good diversity statement but not all schools want one. Is it a bad idea to attach it anyway? What if I do the same for my resume? I figure it can't hurt to give them more info about me. They will not get mad, right?

It's not that schools don't want one, it's just that they don't require one or list is as a supplemental essay. Same goes for the resume. I'm pretty sure most schools will welcome the DS (it's so common now) so it's fine to send it in, along with the resume.

I attached one with every application.

I can't remember if the ones I've gotten into so far did or did request one. But if they didn't then obviously it doesn't hurt!  ;)
