In as well! Now have to wonder if $150k in debt is worth it for American...

Yeah, considering my goal is to work in NYC I am wondering if the job prospects are worth the debt.  I'm super excited to have it as an option though.  :)

Got my letter about a month ago... it nice to see they are finally getting into gear.

Anyone think they will attend?

What do you think about the career prospects?

Im in at American too. Definitly worried about the debt though. I heard that they don't give much $$$. How many of you guys think you might actually attend??

If I get in at a state school I highly doubt I will go. I have not been impressed by thier staff at this point, and so far have left me with a very bad impression of the school.

Although the SO would love to live in Northern VA, and I would get to see him a lot more when he is touring since his band stays in DC a lot.

A few people have been trying to talk me into attending, and I no longer think I'll die in a gutter unable to repay my loans.... but there are better choices for me (if they come through).

My opinion is that it is a fine school and I'd be happy to go.  However, if other choices come through, I'd take them over American without too many regrets either.  American is right in the middle of my list.

TurboBoy, that is exactly my position regarding American.  I was really happy to get in, and would be totally fine with going there, but I'm hoping for a better option (ideally one in New York.)

Of all of my acceptances thus far this cycle, American has been oddly silent.  The others have sent me t-shirts, Christmas cards, more info, etc.  American has sent me nothing since my acceptance November 8th.  Anyone else find this odd?

(I think I'm just bored!)
