They could be those people who look fabulous on paper, but in person, they fall completely flat, smell funny, or are painfully awkward.  I find that the smarter the group of people, the more likely there's going to at least one person like that in it.

Or, coming from the T14, they could be people who only want to work in a niche market or terribly competitive field, and are still looking and waiting for the perfect job.

OR maybe they had jobs contingent on passing the bar and failed - it is NY and CA after all.

Although, I have to say, 3 people out of an entire class at Columbia or Berkeley out of work isn't bad.

Maybe people need more than just an awesome degree to get a job?

. . .  ???

Sorry.  Making the argument that no matter how good your pedigree is, sometimes you have to have basic people/job finding skills to actually find a job.  Trying to make light of the idea that all one needs is to get into a good school--then here comes easy street.

Failing at the humor though.

I can't believe there are posters responding to this absurd thread in a serious manner. Come on!

You're not worried? ???

I'm not.  It's not where you start, anyway.  It's where you end up.

Getting a T14 degree is my only goal in life. Afterwards, I'm moving into a trailer park where my beautiful diploma will adorn my double-wide trailer's living room wall.

Simply put, I'm going to help to create that 1%.
How many times must I slap you before I get my money? One! Two! Two slaps, HA! HA! HA!

Has anyone considered the fact that maybe something happened to these people? i.e. they're very sick or dead or something less morbid/depressing? You have to realize that out of 400 people something is bound to happen to at least a few of them which may prohibit them from finding employment immediately upon graduation.

JDs are awesome, but I don't think they fix all of our 'problems'.
