Didn't they get the memo? I'm GAY!

Didn't they get the memo? I'm GAY!

Why do I keep getting inundated with mailings and fee waivers from such bastions of religious zealotry as Liberty, Regents and Ave Maria?  I identified myself as gay with LSDAS.  Are they just ignoring this information or are they hoping to reform a sinner such as myself?

Cosmo is right, although, some of the religious schools could be attempting to make their student bodies more diverse.

So it's YOU!  When Regent sent their letter(s) warning me that the morals and values of our families were in a downward spiral, that Christian leaders were needed to combat this trend, all that time... you're the one to blame.  I don't know what you homosexuals have been doing to our families, but those Regent guys were pretty serious, so it must be bad.  For shame.

I am going to call Liberty tomorrow and ask them what their policy is concerning homosexual applicants.  I'm sure being gay does not exactly fit in with the "Liberty Way".  Does anyone know if they hold their law students to the same ridiculous requirements as they do their undergrads (i.e., no hand holding, signing out to leave campus, no non-Christian music, etc., etc.)?

Yikes...where is this school?  Is it accredited?

Located in the booming metropolitan area of Lynchburg, VA, the school is accredited with the ABA and is the brainchild and final resting place of his holiness, Jerry Falwell.

I'd say that calling Law School admissions offices to make a political statement should be low on your list of priorities.  Even if their not to fond of man on man lovin, their still accredited and may be peeved enough to spread around your name as an annoyance.  That is if you give them your name.  If not, feel free to rage against the secretary that works in the registrars office.

Merely calling an admissions office to ask a question should not be equated with making a political statement.  I certainly would never leave my name nor would I make an issue of it...I am not some idealogue that cannot bear the thought of someone not accepting my lifestyle.  It would seem to be hypocritical...IMHO.
