I'm planning on taking a prep course for the June 08 LSAT - not positive which company yet. How often do courses like this ever get cancelled?
Most of the schedules for spring are available by now so I'm working it into my study plan and workload for my job - but I've heard of people having the entire course cancelled because of instructor issues, etc. and they were offered the weekend course instead.
Common? I hope not . . .
So, anyone have this happen?
I had a PR course cancelled on me. I go to a big ten school renowned for partying, and apparently the weekend course wasn't a hot pick for many LSATers. I told PR that it was messed up that they simply leave customers out in the cold like that. They offered me a $400 discount to enroll in the same course being offered about an hour away. I quickly declined. After speaking with the director and asking that my $1400 be promptly refunded he called me back and doubled the offer.
I accepted the last offer, but learned that if a course is cancelled on you it makes them look very bad, and you have lots of leverage to negotiate the price at another location and/or course.
EDIT: I wouldn't recommend any PR course.
