Weeks ago, some of us noted that Widener sent out a blast email to about 100 applicants informing them that their apps were complete. The amusing this was that it was from a 2L, and she didn't bcc: people. Anyways, for giggles, I emailed her about 10 days ago asking some banal questions.
I and someone else I know who did the same have never heard back. Now, in principle, I think it's a great idea as far as a recruiting tool, but wow, if you're going to email like that, it's probably a good idea to have someone who is reponsible enough to respond to emails.
