You should not do this to yourself. You are already in at Bloat and Duke. Unless you have no desire to attend these schools, which I doubt because you applied there you can rely on that and wait the cycle out. You have a few months to relax and spend some time enjoying life before law school. Take advantage of it.

That being said, lest see if julie will do her thing twice in one topic. I have decided not to cancel my 12/1 scores and if it is not what I hoped then I will apply to some schools and retake in June. If I do much better in June then I will wait a year. You are already is a spot I would kill to be in. You have a saftey blanket. But hey if you enjoy taking the LSAT go for it.

i'm retaking in february as well... got a 161 last june, but couldn't retake since because i played college football and that kind of eats up my saturdays...

was extremely frustrated with the 161, missed 20 questions, but 9 of them came in the final section, which i wasn't fully prepared for because of the stupid 4 section practice tests... i thought that 5th section wouldn't effect me so much but i was wrong

The stomach flu killed my December retake, so I'm taking it in February. I actually thought I was feeling better and took Saturday's exam but got sick in the middle and completed the test while I was not feeling well.  The only area I think I can improve in is RC, so I'm going to spend the next 8 weeks reading 'heavy' material. I think I did a great job on the games and LR on Saturday, but will never know because I'm cancelling my score...
