UCLA Will Be T14 Next Year

Forgive me if this has already been mentioned, but isn't the whole point of the "T14" that those 14 schools have ALWAYS been the top 14?  If a new school cracked the top 14, wouldn't the "T14" no longer exist?

Texas has been in the Top 14.

EDIT: In the original rankings, Texas was #11 and UCLA was #14.

So, are they just traditionally the top 14?  Either way, if they were no longer "locked in" to those positions, maybe we could just come up with another arbitrary number?

The 14 has to do with schools that have been in the top 10. It would make referring to the T14 weird, but not undermine what it means.

I think GW is going to jump in the rankings. It'd be funny to see them at 17 or 18 and GU at 15.
