Hey, to the South Texas peoples...went to "Decision Rendered" on my STCL status checker... wonder how quickly mail moves about 1000 miles.

Just wanted to say good luck to everyone hoping for STCL. I was accepted in January, but am still waiting to hear about scholarship. Private tuition rates are killer!

Yeah, I'm freaking out that this is their first round of rejections.

Hopefully nice and fast, I was wondering what the status page would look like when they come to a decision.

Yeah, it is weird though, I can't tell what, but I looked at it again today randomly and some lines of text below decision status disappeared.  God knows, but I am feeling so damn paranoid.

At least I know my cycle will be over by the weekend and then I can go back to actually pretending to care about my current classes.  It's funny though, when I started writing my Personal statement last July it seemed as though this point would never come.  Now I'm freaking about putting together all my financial aid docs and finding a place to live.

I got accepted to Akron with a full-tuition scholarship.  They said I'd have to maintain a 3.3 (supposedly in the top 10% of the class)   Do any of you have any insight on how hard that would be?

I have to get in the top half of my class in the fall to keep it for spring.

I don't know.  To be honest, I feel like I'm pretty lucky to get a full-tuition offer with a 159  3.3.   I'd be happy to bargain with them, but I don't have much ammo. :)
