I can say that the school and town are amazing.

Agreed.  The school is amazing in person.  The photos don't do it justice.

Ann Arbor is cool, but I can tell it's going to get old quickly.

I've spent the last 22 years of my life in the same 10,000 person town. At that rate, I'd say a hip place like Ann Arbor could stay new to me indefinitely.

She's not a MAP leader; she's an FYI leader.

Unfortunately you are probably going to Rick's after the MAP dinner. Actually, there are probably a bunch of poor MAPlets at Rick's as we speak. Sad.

Haha, I hear so many bad things about Rick's.

Nah.  They decided to take us to some Latin-themed bar/coffee house or something.  I wasn't really paying attention.  Happy hour is from 12-2.  And we're supposed to wake-up for Day 2 at 8AM.  YAY!

On a side note,  I <3 Dean Zearfoss.

What did you guys do on your first day of MAP? Do you feel completely settled and happy and already in a groove? Are non-MAP ILs up the creek?

Also: Any summer starters around? If so, how are your finals going? Good luck!!

The Contracts final was . . . daunting.  I don't really know any other (polite) way to say it.  Torts review in 45 minutes, and then tomorrow morning we'll take a shot at that one (though if we hit someone or something that we didn't intend to hit, we'll probably be sued for negligence).

I can't wait to meet everyone!  (Especially since that will mean that finals are over!)
