And Tetris, are you serious?  Because that would be really effin' awesome.

No, I was just in a playful/ prankish mood. My real name is very conventional.

Hello future Michigan law students!

I was wondering if anyone in the Chicago area got an email from Dean Zearfoss about an alumni reception on Wed, April 9th at some law firm in the city and was planning on attending.  I kinda want to go, but I thought it would be awkward if I was the only soon-to-be 1L there.

The prospective students are the whole point of those alumni receptions Dean Z told you about (they're held in a few cities around the country at this time of year).  You most definitely won't be the only soon-to-be 1L.

Oh.....April 9th I have to do a boneless wings eating competition anyway.  $1000 prize.  A nice way to defray 0.6% of law school.      :'(

Well, the one in NY wouldn't be April 9, anyway.  The Admissions staff (who do attend these) can only be in one city at a time.  I'm sure there will be an NYC one.
