So, are we getting closer to knowing who will be in town for lunch on Thursday?  It would be nice to get together before the official stuff starts.

If this year is anything like last, it's easier to switch from summer to fall than fall to summer.

Depends on the year.  Historically, it hasn't been that easy, but last year they had so many people who wanted to do summer that they actually sent out an email asking whether anybody wanted to switch to the fall (this is what I did, although I asked Dean Z at the ASW before the email went out).  If you've got a compelling reason, they should be able to make it happen for you.  If not, it can't hurt to ask.

Why would anyone regret not going to fake law school for the summer?

Is summer start easier?

::calls Dean Z::

Please do it.  Hopefully, the more people that want summer, the easier it will be for me to transfer to Fall.

For everyone who is summer starting, I'll be around because I'm doing research for one of my profs this summer - I sense some sangria-soaked afternoons at Dominic's in the future.
