Michigan Class of 2011: where you should be

I posted this earlier in the thread but perhaps no one saw it:

Does someone want to PM me the admitted student website log-on info?  I thought I could just use my username and password from last cycle and tweak the year but it must be different.  Thank you.

EDIT: Got it, thanks.

Never mind, I answered my question about the academic calendar.

Thanks anyway :)

Can you still get a scholarship if you applied ED?

Not that it matters, but does any one know if Legal Practice or whatever Michigan calls their legal writing and research class is graded or pass/fail? I was curious and couldn't find it on the website or in the viewbook.

Yes you can definitely get scholarship money.  You're not likely to get a Darrow, only because people with Darrow stats usually don't apply ED.  Also, you can't use leverage to ask for more money, though that shouldn't stop you for asking for more money.  You never know unless you ask!

It's pass/fail.

Should we revive the Ask a 1L thread, do you think?

Good idea, if I can find it!

Thanks for the quick reply! If the other students at Mich are half as "collegial" as the ones on this board, I can see why the school has its reputation.

And I for one would love a revival of the Ask a 1L.  The first one started before anyone got in, so I think there were less questions.

I bumped it.  It's on the applications board.  And yes, we are all collegial!  Last year's 1Ls lured us in before we even visited!   :D

I HATE pikeys.

Anyhoooo, I'm really excited about Mich! I submitted my lawyer's club app last week, and received my confirmation today.
