Michigan Class of 2011: where you should be

Are you coming to the ASW?
I'd like to, when is it again?

The first one is Thursday-Saturday, March 13-15.  I don't have the date for the other weekend with me, and the admitted students website doesn't have it listed yet.

Does someone want to PM me the admitted student website log-on info?  I thought I could just use my username and password from last cycle and tweak the year but it must be different.  Thank you.

Does anyone know when Summer 08 course schedules come out for summer starters?

The academic calender is already out on the website.  I believe the course schedule will come out around February (that's when it came out last year I think).  It seems like the summer classes are always Torts, Contracts, or Civ Pro.

Good news: Les Miles, LSU's coach, is going to replace Lloyd Carr!! As someone whose interest in Michigan includes the school's sports programs, I am very excited to see this. I was worried that all 3 of my years would be rebuilding for the football team since Henne and Hart are graduating and Carr resigned.

Bad info.  He signed a re-up with LSU and will be announcing it in a few hours.  No Les Miles at Michigan.

Yeah--Ann Arbor news (and Angelique Chengelis) are reporting that Les is not coming.

The second one is April 3rd-5th and I encourage anyone and everyone to go!

I got my letter a few weeks ago. I'm absolutely thrilled!! I've posted a few times on the "admitted students" bulletin board, but just discovered this board. (Thanks to a poster on that board, actually.) I guess this is the place to be!  :)

I'm still waiting to hear from other schools, but I'm really leaning towards Michigan. There are A LOT of Mich alums where I live, and everyone I've met is so friendly (a rarity here in our nation's capital...) and has great things to say about his or her time there. I plan on visiting early next year.

I'd love to chat with a Summer starter, if there are any out there.
