moved: study abroad grades
« on: September 28, 2004, 03:43:02 PM »
recently had my LSDAS transcript processed and GPA calculated.

then, just this week i recieved a notice in the mail saying that i had no listed an instituation i had attended, the instituation where i studied abroad for a semester while in UG.  these grades had not counted toward my GPA at my UG college.  but LSAC says that they must have these grades or my transcript will say, incomplete.

my question is, will my abroad grades count in my LSDAS GPA?

Yes, I believe that your grades are averaged for ALL UG classes you take.  I know some study abroad people here who were freaking out.

Hmm... I have the same problem. But if you didn't take the courses for your UG credit at all, can they still request the transcript and average it? That makes no sense because on the LSAC site they say they only need transcripts from institutions that are either in the US or affiliated with US institutions... I think...
