I think Michigan is a possibility. Your soft factors separate you from recent grads with similar numbers. In terms of it beings cool to go there, I would say its my top choice if I decide to leave the South. But then again I am graduating in May and am attracted to the collegiate atmosphere and comfortable around a big university.

I think 15-25 would be good targets. Vandy is probably the best school you should be confident about, but you have a great shot at Michigan to GULC.
Vandy 1L... really?

Reach:  University of Chicago, University of Michigan, University of Virginia, Northwestern University, Georgetown University

Target:  Cornell, UCLA, USC, Texas, Vandy, WashU, BU

May want to get those apps out soon or wait until early next cycle.  Your probability of getting into the reach schools, like any other, will significantly wane.

I think that U. Chicago is a super reach.  It's an elitist school.

However, I agree with UVA, Umich, and GULC as good reach choices.

What do you mean when you say UChi is an elitist school?
