I applied to seattle u's special admissions program. Santa clara and u of san francisco also have an alternative admissions program.

You can call the schools you were accepted to and see if you acceptance is conditional or contingent upon you completing the CLEO program. Your right 2k is a lot of money to spend but for some people it may be worth it....

If you get accepted don't they tell you the school that nominated you? Or do you even have to be nominated by a school to be accepted?

Oh and are admissions rolling? I missed the early deadline by like 2 days. Does that mean im not gonna get a response until like march or something?

I dont see anything about Alt. Adm. for USF.

At USF it will be called "special admissions program."

And if you are accepted to a school through CLEO they will usually tell you. But they also insist that you call schools also. I got in touch with Denver university and worked that out myself. Its not necessary to already be accepted to attend CLEO but if you are, that increases your chances of being accepted into CLEO. I believe I applied in december or jan last year and heard back in Feb.

Hi,

I have 141 (June 07) and 145 (Dec 07); 3.41.  I haven't applied to any school.  I live in CA and someone told me to try CLEO.  My targets are Pepperdine, Loyola, UCLA, USC, San Diego.

I have $2K but I can either, take a LSAT class and raise my lsat or use it for CLEO.

I'm not sure what to do:

LSAT: There's really no guarantee that my score will go up.  My issue is test anxiety. I was testing in the low to mid 160.

CLEO: There's no guarantee but it sounds like CLEO can help with admissions even if I don't get a high enough score.

Any advise?

I would reccomend re-taking the test and applying to CLEO...

ok, cool. I'm still thinking about it. I don't think it will help with Cornell, and Vandy is a good school for me. 2,000  is a lot of money.
