CLEO 2008 Summer Institute
« on: November 15, 2007, 10:35:35 PM »
For those who applied to the CLEO program, and who were admitted in the previous years. Do you mind sharing with us your experience/perspective from being admitted to participating in the program.

You can share whatever information you feel in term of how long it was taken to receive a decision.  What is the Lowest LSAT they're usually admitted in the program? Whatever information you share with us for the Fall 2008, it will be greatly appreciated.

Additionally, if you're currently applying for law school for Fall 2008, and you applied also to CLEO, do you receive any correspondence yet?

By the way, I already applied, and I can't wait to receive a decision.

I applied to CLEO last year and was accepted. I got a call from Mrs. Thomasine Williams informing me of my acceptance. I will be applying again this year. I did not attend or complete the program because od family issues. One location for the summer institute will be in California this year, which I am excited about!!!

I am very intersted in this topic. I attended CLEO's A.S.A.P program in atlanta this past summer and am actually going to send my application to the summer institute as soon as I get home and print out my personal statement. From what I understand one location will be in Cali and the other one I think will be at University of Pitt.  I hope I get accepted!!!

I got my acceptance letter today. I'm not sure if I'm going to do it though. I don't really know what it is.

I did not receive any letter yet...I guess that we should be patient for a while.  By the way, when did you submit your application to receive your outcome quickly like that?

What exactly are the benefits of CLEO?

It seems that a summer of fun and relaxation is the best preparation for law school!  I am personally hoping for a trip to the islands.
