Need HELP...Previous loans

If i have taken out about a hundred grand already for undergrad and want to begin law school soon will this affect my ability to receive loans for law school? Im especially because the ones in specific im thinking about will require hefty loans (50K with cost of living)?? Please Help

Well...

You will still be able to take out loans, but make sure you think about what a quarter million dollars in loans will mean when you graduate.

for federal loans the cap is 138,000 total. You should be good cause you can only take out so much during undergrad and for law schoo the most you can take out federally is 61,500 total. As for private I dont think there is a limit.

yea man, being 250,000 in debt is alot.

I am very glad I worked and paid for undergrad myself. I could not imagine having that much debt.

I can barely deal with the thought of a private law school and the 180K I will pick up there. I am really pulling for a state school right about now.
