What about LSAT 75%, GPA 25% splitters like me?   ;)

in general, i think HLS cares more about the GPA than the LSAT.  that's not necessarily a death sentence - but it will depend on your other factors.

I think I disagree in this situation. If mmg means 75% for HLS, s/he's talking 175/176 land, iirc. My general impression is that people with 175+ but 3.7ish or somewhat lower GPAs get into HLS so long as they went to a good undergrad or have another strong soft factor.

(Gee golly gosh, why do I know so much about this exact situation? Sigh.)

LB, do you know someone who is known as "Chern"?

I guess i was thinking that a 25% GPA meant something in the neighborhood of 3.3, 3.4.  I neglected to consider how high a 25% GPA can be at HLS.

Chern?  I know someone named Chernikoff, but that's as close as I get, I think.

That's the one. He's...well, not quite a friend, I don't think, but a person I know. Small world, eh?

i wonder if it's the same chernikoff.  i don't know if i've ever called him chern...but then again, i don't know him all that well.

i think i posted a congrats in the beginning, and now i'm kind of stuck.  it will be mildly depressing when my thin envelope/automated email arrives.

So does everyone who gets an interview either get waitlisted/accepted - or can you mess it up enough for a straight out rejection?
