LSAT averaging question

LSAT averaging question

I know there are some schools that normally average but will take the higher if your score increases by 8 points by second time around.  But what if you were to write it three times, with scores 160, 168 and 170?  There isn't a significant difference between the 2nd and 3rd scores, so will the aforementioned schools average all 3 scores, average the 2 higher scores, or take the highest score?  Thanks

I don't know the answer to your question, but I do love your screen name.

Haha thanks.  But I don't necessarily love it.  It serves as a reminder to my all-time intellectual nemesis.

But the question still stands, if anyone can help.

I would assume they would take the average of the higher scores.  In the situation you gave, they would probably see it as very high 160s (assuming they take the higher score).  If they average, they would probably just average all three.
